Ray Kurzweil, The Technology Man…!
Ray Kurzweil in his presentation, “How technology will transform us?”, brilliantly pointes out the movement and the facts behind the acceleration of technology towards a better and never-expected future of technology down the line. The fields he mentions are medicine, computers, internet, press and print and so many more different fields.
Technology, in his sharp perspective, is expected to determine or, at least, involve in resolving the worldly matters like hunger, drought, and diseases. As a man-of-computers and an expert of the internet world and of different technologies, he tells that there is an absolute acceleration in the field of computers-how they change and what ability they might have in the near future. For example, computer size, weight, proficiency-ability to process more data during a particular time, will be changed, and it, in fact, affects all the aspects of our lives, in all the different lines here and there.
In the field of health, he insists that there is a revolutionary change in our capability to find out more about the human body and its extraordinary aspects in which leads us towards a better control over different lethal diseases. And he claims working on DNA is far more behind everyone’s comprehension of how technology changed and how it will change. For instance, using ultra sound waves and even more advanced waves of very up-to-date designed technological instruments, scientists can easily go inside human body, a never-expected dream of scientists.
Thus, I can say his words and expressions, and his information, regarding technology, has been diligently stated. He and the information he gave out in his presentation has increased my awareness in the field of technology in leaps and bounds.
